The National Park poster series invites the viewer to experience the outdoors in a new way by connecting with its ancient history. The poster series includes three drastically different parks (Big Bend, Channel Islands, and Denali) and connects them through their prehistoric pasts. The overall theme is “a shadow of the past”, where modern day activities mimic the experiences that living creatures have had for millions of years. The whimsical line illustrations are designed to motivate the viewer to seek a connection to the beauty and timelessness of the outdoors.
